Paul Casey (ranked 1st by Golf Predictor) won the inaugural Volvo Golf Champions on the European PGA Tour. The Englishman was made to work for it on a day where the lead 23 times. He finally sealed victory with a par putt on the last when his playing partner Peter Hanson bogeyed. In addition to the top ranked player, we had eleven of the top thirteen plus ties (11/19) in total.
Bubba Watson (ranked 14th by Golf Predictor) won the Farmers Insurance Open on the US PGA Tour. The genial American sealed his second win on tour with a great up and down from bunker for birdie at the last. Our top ranked player, Tiger Woods, finished in tied 44th on his first outing of the season, but we had eight of the top fourteen plus ties (8/16) in total.
