Only the top thirty in the FedEx Cup rankings are
playing in the US season finale this week, while the other big US names rest in advance of the Presidents Cup and the start of the new PGA Tour season. Not many big names at
the revived European Open, which moves to the continent for the first time. It was last played in England in 2009, but there are a considerable golfers from the mid to lower end of the world's top one hundred in action.
