2011 - Week 51 Winner

Alvaro Quiros (ranked 18th by Golf Predictor) won The Dubai World Championship pres. by DP World on the European PGA Tour. The 28 year old big hitting Spaniard won in style, closing with an eagle three on the final hole for a two shot victory. While Quiros completed the "Dubai Double" this season, it was our top ranked golfer, Luke Donald, who trumped him with his third place finish. That allowed the ultra-consistent Englishman to make history by becoming the first player to top the money list on both sides of the pond in the same year. His achievement is all the more impressive given the recent passing of his father and birth of his new daughter). Overall, we had nine of the top eleven plus ties (9/15) in total.

That's another long season over and I'm looking forward to a few free weekends! I'd like to thank all the Golf Predictor users this year and here's to a great 2012!
