Further to an earlier announcement, eighteen more 2012 European PGA Tour events have been added to Golf Predictor. There are still several events and courses to be confirmed for next season and only one new event (the Perth International Golf Championship in Australia). I have taken the liberty to add Carton House as the venue for the Irish Open, as it is widely being reported as such here in Ireland today.
Five of the newly added events (Irish, Scottish, Austrian and Italian Opens and the Andalucia Masters) are currently without sponsors, a situation that is likely to change in the coming months. When that happens, their new names will be updated on the system.
Now that the European PGA Tour have finally managed to get a complete season into a calendar year, there will be around five less weeks in the combined US/European PGA Tour season this year. In addition to meaning less work for me, it also means an off-season two weeks longer than before. Yippee!
