2012 - Week 21 Winners

Luke Donald (ranked 1st by Golf Predictor) won the flagship BMW PGA Championship on the European PGA Tour. The 34 year old Englishman returned to the top of the world rankings with an assured title defence at Wentworth. The previous incumbent at he top of the rankings,Rory McIlroy, disappointingly missed the cut, leaving Donald clear to retake the coveted top spot. Including the winner, we had ten of the top eighteen plus ties (10/21).

Zach Johnson (ranked 3rd by Golf Predictor) won the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial on the US PGA Tour. The 36 year old American won a final day two horse race with the in-form Jason Dufner after the latter triple bogeyed the fifteenth hole. Our top ranked player, Matt Kuchar, finished in tied 26th and we had twelve of the top nineteen plus ties (12/25) in total.

Zach Johnson was penalised 2 shots for incorrectly replacing his ball on the final hole yesterday. Luckily for him, he was 3 shots clear at the end of play!
