Based on the average score in relation to par in the tournaments hosted on them, these were the 5 toughest courses on the European PGA Tour in the 2014 GP Season (calendar year):

1. Pinehurst (US Open)
2. Le Golf National (Alstom Open de France)
3. PGA Golf de Catalunya (Open de Espana)
4. Himmerland Golf & Spa Resort (Made in Denmark)
5. Augusta National GC (The Masters)

The list is somewhat different to the 2013 one, although the US Open is once again the toughest event and Le Golf National is even harder than last year!
