2018 - Week 3 Winners

Tommy Fleetwood (ranked 10th by Golf Predictor) won the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship on the European PGA Tour. The 27 year old Englishman defended his title with another impressive back nine performance in Abu Dhabi. Fleetwood came home in a scintillating thirty strokes (-6) to overtake a stalling Ross Fisher and win by two shots. Our top ranked golfer, Dustin Johnson, finished in tied ninth, despite not having his A-game for most of the week. Overall, we had eleven of the top nineteen plus ties (11/21).

Jon Rahm (ranked 1st by Golf Predictor) won the CareerBuilder Challenge on the US PGA Tour. The 23 year old Spaniard won his second tour title in a play-off against Andrew Landry. Rahm played impressively on Sunday but failed to hole key putts down the stretch. That allowed Landry to catch him with a great birdie on the difficult final hole. After both missed chances in the play-off, Rahm prevailed on the fourth extra hole with a winning birdie. Rahm was our top ranked golfer and in an event usually hard to call, we had eleven of the top twenty plus ties (11/28) in total.
