Daniel Berger ranked 56th by Golf Predictor) won the Charles Schwab Challenge on the US PGA Tour. The 27 year old American put his injury woes behind him, recording his third tour title against a stacked field at the first event back after a three month suspension due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Berger posted -15 first and was only matched by Collin Morikawa from a bunched leaderboard. In the resultant play-off, Morikawa missed a three foot par putt to hand the title to Berger at the first extra hole. Our top ranked player, Rory McIlroy, had a disastrous final day and finished in tied 32nd. Overall, in a quality field where many of the world's best players didn't perform, we had only seven of the top fourteen plus ties (7/18).
