2010 - Week 34 Winner

Martin Kaymer (ranked 9th by Golf Predictor keep Germany's great recent run in majors going by winning the US PGA Championship on the European/US PGA Tour. After consecutive senior major wins for Bernhard Langer, the 25 year old Kaymer joined him in the winner's circle at Whistling Straits. After Dustin Johnson was harshly penalised for grounding his club in a bunker (that didn't look like a bunker!) on the last, it was left to Kaymer and Bubba Watson to slug it out in a play-off. Kaymer triumphed at the third extra hole to join Langer in an exclusive club of major winning Germans! Our top ranked player, Phil Mickelson, finished strongly with a 67 (-5) for tied 12th position and we had ten of the top eighteen plus ties (10/23) in total.
