2010 - Week 36 Winners

Edoardo Molinari (ranked 1st by Golf Predictor) played his way into the Ryder Cup by winning the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles on the European PGA Tour. The 29 year old Italian bested his playing partner and younger brother Francesco to take his second title on Scottish soil this season. That win (and his proven partnership with his brother!) was enough for Monty to call him into the team at the expense of Paul Casey and Justin Rose. Including predicting the winner, we had ten of the top fourteen plus ties (10/18) in total.

On the US Tour, Matt Kuchar (ranked 8th by Golf Predictor) won the first event of the FedEx Cup play-offs, The Barclays. The 32 year old capped a consistent season to seal his 3rd win on the US PGA Tour. Kuchar picked up five shots on overnight leader, Martin Laird, to defeat him with a stunning approach at the first extra hole. Our top ranked player, Phil Mickelson, was one of many big names to under perform and missed the cut. Overall though, we had eight of the top fifteen plus ties (8/20).
