2010 - Week 35 Winners

Peter Hanson (ranked 1st by Golf Predictor) gave his Ryder Cup ambitions a shot in the arm by winning the Czech Open 2010 on the European PGA Tour. The 32 year old Swede did it the hard way, throwing away his four shot overnight lead but prevailing in a three way play-off with Gary Boyd and Peter Lawrie. That victory adds to Monty's selection dilemma as it propels the Swede into automatic selection for the Ryder Cup at Paul Casey's expense. Including predicting the winner, we had seven of the top sixteen plus ties (7/19) in total.

On the US Tour, Arjun Atwal (ranked 86th* by Golf Predictor) won the Wyndham Championship. The 37 year old, who lost his card in July, became the first Indian to win on the US PGA Tour. That should ease his playing concerns for the two years! Our top ranked player, Anthony Kim, continued his poor return from injury by missing the cut. Overall, we had eleven of the top eighteen plus ties (11/27).

*Atwal was a late entrant and only added to predictions on Saturday morning (GMT).
