Nick Watney (ranked 1st by Golf Predictor) won the AT&T National on the US PGA Tour. The 30 year old American won his second title of the season by two shots from K.J. Choi. Watney won in some style, with some impressive putting in a blemish free closing round. Including the winner, we had nine of the top fifteen plus ties in total (9/19).
Thomas Levet (ranked 103rd by Golf Predictor) won the Alstom Open de France on the European PGA Tour. The 42 year old French man won his national open 25 years after his first attempt with a final round 70 (-1). Our top ranked player, Martin Kaymer, finished in 4th place and in an event where a lot of the bigger names didn't perform, we had five of the top fifteen plus ties in total (5/20). It must have been the lack of security and all the cameras/phones!!!!
