South African won his second tour title, holding off the field on the final day after a superlative 62 (-10) on Saturday had established a 3 shot lead. Our top
ranked player, Thongchai Jaidee, finished in tied 43rd and in an event where a lot of the bigger names didn't perform, we had six of the top seventeen plus ties (6/22) in total.
Kevin Streelman (ranked 59th by Golf Predictor) won the Tampa Bay Championship pres. by EverBank on the US PGA Tour. The 34 year old American won won his first PGA Tour event at the 153th time of asking with an assured weekend performance. Streelman went bogey free over his final 37 holes on the tough Copperhead layout to win by two. Our top ranked player, Luke Donald, finished in tied 4th and in another event where a lot of the bigger names didn't perform, we had six of the top seventeen plus ties (6/20).
