Lee Westwood (ranked 1st by Golf Predictor) won the Maybank Malaysian Open on the European PGA Tour. The Englishman gave himself an early 41st birthday present by winning his first title in two years. Despite flying half way across the world after the Masters and having to deal with hot and humid conditions, Westwood won easily, birdieing the last for a seven shot victory margin. Overall, including the winner, we had nine of the top eighteen plus ties (9/23)* .
Matt Kuchar (ranked 1st by Golf Predictor) won the RBC Heritage on the US PGA Tour. The 35 year old American won his his seventh tour title with a holed bunker shot on the last for birdie to pip Luke Donald by a single shot. Overall, including the winner, we had five of the top twelve plus ties (5/17) in an event where a lot of the bigger names did not perform very well.
