Alexander Levy (ranked 58th by Golf Predictor) won the Volvo China Open on the European PGA Tour. The 23 year old Frenchman overcame a topsy turvy back nine to claim his maiden title by four shots. Levy had a double bogey on fifteen, but steadied the ship with two closing birdies to secure the title. Our top ranked player, Henrik Stenson, finished in tied 5th, but we had eleven of the top nineteen plus ties (11/23).
Seung-Yul Noh (ranked 22nd by Golf Predictor) won the Zurich Classic of New Orleans on the US PGA Tour. The 22 year old South Korean won his maiden tour title thanks to an assured display in windy conditions on Sunday. Although the leaderboard wasn't exactly full of household names, that won't bother Noh, who now qualifies for the Players Championship, the US PGA Championship and the Masters, among other things. Our top ranked player, Justin Rose, finished in tied 8th and we only had eight of the top twenty one plus ties (8/24)* in total.
*Due to a non-finish, Holmes makes the top twenty four in our rankings.
