2009 - Week 41 Winners

Despite missing the cut in his last four tournaments, James Kingston (ranked 52nd by Golf Predictor) won the Mercedes-Benz Championship on the European PGA Tour. The South African finally made some money with a play-off victory over Anders Hansen after they both finished on thirteen under par. Our top ranked player, Lee Westwood, finished in tied 8th position and we had seven of the top fifteen plus ties (7/17) in total.

On the US PGA Tour, Tiger Woods (ranked 1st by Golf Predictor) strolled to his fifth win at the BMW Championship. The world number one ran away with the title this year after destroying the field with a brilliant course record 62 on Saturday. In winning the third FedEx Cup play-off event, Woods reclaimed his place at the top of the FedEx Cup standings. Including the winner, we had six of the top eight plus ties (6/9)*.
