The predictions for week 44, the Turning Stone Resort Championship (US PGA Tour) and the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship (European PGA Tour), are now available. Although the US PGA Tour play-offs are over, the season trundles on in the shape of the Fall Series, where the lesser lights traditionally get a chance to shine. Meanwhile on the European PGA Tour, it's the European equivalent of the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, where the celebrities mingle with the pros. However, they have to do it in Scotland in October, so it won't be all fun and games!
The list of pre-2004 champions playing in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship (Golf Predictor uses the results from the previous 5 years) includes Lee Westwood (2003), Padraig Harrington (2002) and Paul Lawrie (2001). The Turning Stone Resort Championship (formerly known as the BC Open) has no pre-2004 champions in the field.
