2009 - Top 5 Hardest Courses/Tournaments on the US PGA Tour

Based on the average score in relation to par in the tournaments hosted on them, these were the toughest courses on the US PGA Tour in the 2009 season:
  1. Bethpage Black (US Open)
  2. Turnberry - Ailsa Course (British Open)
  3. Hazeltine National (US PGA)
  4. Bay Hill Club & Lodge (Arnold Palmer Invitational)
  5. Muirfield Village (Memorial)
This list is similar to last year's and is again top heavy with major tournaments. The beast that is Bethpage Black unsurprisingly ranked as the toughest.
