Pablo Martin (ranked 79th by Golf Predictor) overcame poor 2009 form to win the first event of the 2010 European PGA Tour season. In doing so, the young Spaniard became the first player to win as an amateur and a professional on the tour. He also ensured that keeping his card for next season will be as big a problem as it was for him last season!
Our top ranked player, Ernie Els, finished very poorly with a 77 for tied 17th place, but we had nine of the top fifteen plus ties (9/16) to start the 2009 season on a high note.
