2010 - Week 25 Winners

Lee Westwood (ranked 1st by Golf Predictor) won his first title on the US PGA Tour in twelve years at the St. Jude Classic presented by Smith & Nephew. The English man won in a three man play-off after Robert Garrigus triple bogeyed the last to fall back level with him and Robert Karlsson. The Swede spurned two great chances to win after Garrigus bowed out, but Westwood was not to be denied his long overdue victory. That should set him up nicely for the US Open this week. Including the winner, we had twelve of the top fifteen plus ties (12/24).

On the European PGA Tour, Thomas Bjorn (ranked 18th by Golf Predictor) recorded a comprehensive five shot victory at the Estoril Open de Portugal. The Dane finished with a 68 (-4) for his first win in over four years. Our top ranked player, Chris Wood, finished in tied fifteenth and we had nine of the top fifteen plus ties (9/18) in total.
