2012 - Week 6 Winners

Rafael Cabrera Bello (ranked 27th by Golf Predictor) won the Omega Dubai Desert Classic on the European PGA Tour. The 27 year old Spaniard won his second tour title by a single shot after his nearest challengers failed to birdie the par five final hole. Indeed, it was the third bridesmaid finish in Dubai for one of those runners up, Lee Westwood! Our top ranked player, Rory McIlroy, finished in tied 5th and we had seven of the top sixteen plus ties (7/19) in total.

Phil Mickelson (ranked 5th by Golf Predictor) won the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am on the US PGA Tour. The 41 year old American became the latest player to rally from at least six shots back with a sparkling 64 (-8) to take his landmark 40th US PGA Tour title. An added bonus for Mickelson was outscoring his playing partner Tiger Woods by an incredible eleven shots. Our top ranked player, Dustin Johnson, finished in tied 5th and we had seven of the top fifteen plus ties (7/19).
