Eddie Pepperell (ranked 8th by Golf Predictor) won the Sky Sports British Masters on the European PGA Tour.
The 27 year old Englishman led from start to finish to secure his second tour title at Walton Heath. Pepperell played well in the difficult conditions and could even afford to drop a couple of shots coming in and still win by two strokes. Our top ranked player, host Justin Rose, finished in tied 8th and we had eleven of the top sixteen plus ties (11/21).
Marc Leishman (ranked 4th by Golf Predictor) won the CIMB Classic on the US PGA Tour. The 34 year old Australian won his fourth tour title with an impressive finish in Malaysia. Tied for the lead overnight, Leishman started strongly and wasn't put under any pressure down the stretch. That allowed him to coast home and a closing birdie meant he won by five shots in the end. Our top ranked player, Justin Thomas, finished strongly for tied 5th and we had eleven of the top nineteen plus ties (11/21).
