British Masters Cancelled

More bad news for the European PGA Tour as the British Masters becomes the latest event to be dropped from the schedule. Unfortunately, the organisers could not procure a new sponsor in these difficult economic times. It's a real shame that one of the oldest events on tour has bitten the dust, having been on the calendar since 1946. It is the third event to be cancelled, following the Indian Masters and the 'postponement' of the English Open already this season.

The Austrian Open is moving to take over British Masters slot from 17-20th September. Golf Predictor has been updated to reflect the new situation.
