2011 - Week 32 Winners

Simon Dyson (ranked 13th by Golf Predictor) won the Irish Open pres. by Discover Ireland on the European PGA Tour. The 33 year old Englishman won his fifth tour title after Richard Green unfortunately three putted the last. The ever increasing group of Irish major winners all disappointed in their home Open. Harrington and Clarke missed the cut, while GMac and McIlroy never really challenged. The latter was our top ranked player, and finished in tied 34th. In an event where a lot of the bigger names didn't perform, we had five of the top seventeen plus ties (7/20) in total.

Scott Stallings (ranked 70th by Golf Predictor) won the Greenbrier Classic on the US PGA Tour. The 26 year old American became the sixth rookie winner of the season when he birdied the first play-off hole against Bob Estes and Bill Haas. Our top ranked player, Phil Mickelson, finished in tied 87th and we had nine of the top eighteen plus ties (9/26)*.

*Brandt Snedeker didn't play, thereby promoting Anthony Kim into the top 26 in the rankings.
