2011 - Week 36 Winners

Thomas Bjorn (ranked 16th by Golf Predictor) won the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles on the European PGA Tour. The 40 year old Dane took his second title of the season after a  dramatic five hole, five man play-off. Long time leader Mark Foster will be kicking himself again after bogeyed the last to let yet another lead slip. Our top ranked player, Anders Hansen, finished in tied 31st and we had eight of the top fifteen plus ties (8/20) in total.

Dustin Johnson (ranked 7th by Golf Predictor) won The Barclays on the US PGA Tour. The 27 year old American won his second 54 hole tournament as the first FedEx Cup play-off event was shortened due to Hurricane Irene. The big hitting Johnson took the front nine apart, realising -17 of his -19 total on the outward half. Our top ranked player, Luke Donald, finished in tied 18th and we had eight of the top eighteen plus ties (8/23).
