2011 - Week 35 Winners

Oliver Fisher (ranked 67th by Golf Predictor) won the Czech Open on the European PGA Tour. Despite missing the cut in twenty of his first twenty one events this season, the 22 year old English man tore up the form book to win his maiden title by two shots. Our top ranked player, Miguel-Angel Jimenez, couldn't overcome tiredness to perform on his own design and we had eight of the top twenty plus ties (8/22) in total.

Webb Simpson (ranked 9th by Golf Predictor) won the Wyndham Championship on the US PGA Tour. The 26 year old North Carolina native delighted the home crowd by taking his maiden tour title by three shots. It was a squeaky bum day for several big name vying for FedEx play-off spots, with Ernie Els and Padraig Harrington eventually prevailing after some anxious moments! Our top ranked player, David Toms, finished in tied 17th and we had ten of the top seventeen plus ties (10/24)*.

*Spencer Levin didn't play, thereby promoting Davis Love III to 24th in the rankings.
