Ashun Wu (ranked 25th by Golf Predictor) won the Lyoness Open powered by Sporthilfe Cashback Card on the European PGA Tour. Despite a mid round wobble, the 30 year old Chinese golfer steadied the ship to secure his second tour title. Wu overcame a double bogey-bogey start to the back nine to record two birdies coming in to win by a single shot from Adrian Otaegui. Our top ranked player, Chris Wood, finished well on Sunday for tied 6th and we had ten of the top nineteen plus ties (10/23) in total.
Daniel Berger (ranked 6th by Golf Predictor) won the FedEx St. Jude Classic on the US PGA Tour. The 23 year old American won his first tour title with an impressive putting display on Sunday. Despite a shaky start, Berger's blade baled him out several times on the front nine and he steadied the ship to win his maiden title fairly comfortably in the end. Our top ranked player, Dustin Johnson, finished very strongly on Sunday for 5th place and we had eight of the top eighteen plus ties (8/25).
