While the Ryder Cup was going on in Kentucky, Will MacKenzie (ranked 109th by Golf Predictor) was winning the Viking Classic in Missouri. Overcoming a triple bogey on 18 on Saturday, MacKenzie triumphed at the second extra play off hole against the unlucky Marc Turnesa (ranked 96), who led for most of the week. The third member of the play off who departed at the first extra hole was Brian Gay (ranked 8).
Our top pick, Rory Sabbertini, finished in a tie for 14th place and we also had Woody Austin in the top ten.
