Ryder Cup - Day 3

Nick Faldo must be expecting a tight finish to this year's Ryder Cup at Valhalla. There has been some surprise at the European captain's bottom loading of the singles order with most of his big guns and form golfers. Let's hope that they still have something to play for by the time they head down the stretch.

In contrast, US captain Paul Azinger has front loaded his order with his form players. That to me looks like a recipe for disaster for Europe. This obvious American ploy should have been anticipated by Faldo, whose team find themselves two points in arrears going into the day's play. However, his guys haven't let him down on the course, so let's hope for another exciting day of golf action today. The single pairings are (US names first):
