With news of Lee Westwood struggling to overcome a bout of tonsillitis, it looks like Darren Clarke may actually get a call up to the team after all! Having suffered from that ailment also many times in the past*, I can tell you that the last place you'd want to be while having elephantiasis of the neck is a golf course!
Let's hope Lee recovers in time as he has been a real stalwart of the team in recent Ryder Cups.
*regular readers will note that I seem to have had a lot of ailments!
