Further to my post yesterday about the new structure of the European PGA Tour (the Race to Dubai), there is pleasing news that after next season, the tour will revert to a calendar year.
So, after the initial bedding down season next year, in 2010 we can thankfully say goodbye to overlapping European Tour golf seasons that span 2 years. It's bad enough it spans multiple continents! This new structure should ease confusion and add defined start and end points to the seemingly never ending seasons!
