Asia recorded their first win over Europe in the Royal Trophy in Bangkok today. Trailing overnight by 5 points, the Europeans failed to make much inroads into the deficit in the final day singles. The final score was a pretty comfortable 10-6 for the host continent. It might not have been the strongest European team and most of them may have been shaking off the cobwebs, but this was still a great performance by the Asian team.
The European team may have to take on Antarctica to win a team event by the looks of things!
