Unfortunately, another European Tour event has bitten the dust. After the earlier announcement of the demise of the Indian Masters, the resurrection of the English Open has been postponed for two years. The event was supposed to be held the week of the US PGA Championship in August. The economic downturn has again been blamed, with the developers of the Cornish host resort getting into a bit of a financial pickle.
Let's hope that they can sort themselves out and get back on track for 2011 as planned. Regrettably, we have removed the tournament from Golf Predictor.
