Perez Shoots Record Number of Ducks!

Pat Perez has lowered the 2 round US PGA Tour scoring record by one shot after following his opening 61 with a 63 at the Bob Hope Classic. Good enough as his two round total of 124 (-20) is, it's not much of a surprise that it happened at this event. That score equates to a bogey free 36 holes with a birdie every other hole and an eagle thrown in for good measure. As shown in the Golf Predictor 'Tournament Stats' page, the Bob Hope Classic is consistently one of the easiest events on the US PGA Tour. If tour players reckon they have to shoot at least 30 under par to win (even if it is a five round event), it really is a duck shoot!
