If you've ever dreamed of being a pro golfer but weren't good enough and thought caddying for someone who could play would do instead, then we at Golf Predictor have just the book for you*! "Maybe it Should Have Been a Three-Iron" (also known as "Four Iron in the Soul") by Lawrence Donegan (1998) is a hilarious account of one golf journalist's year as a caddy to a European Tour journeyman. Personally, I can't recall the last time I laughed out loud so much while reading a book (especially when the subject matter was golf!).
Be warned however - it may disabuse you of your dream! It can't have been all that bad though; the book is gushingly dedicated to the golfer!
