Big John is in the news....again. He has revealed that he has been banned for 6 months from the US PGA Tour for basically bringing it into dispute. The ban stems from the incident last year where Daly was found very "tired and emotional" outside a restaurant in North Carolina and taken into custody to recover.
This is one time Daly is probably glad he isn't a full member of the US tour and reliant on invitations. There was also a timely profession of love for the European Tour which has rather bravely welcomed him into its bosom for the lucrative 2009 season. Let's just hope for John's sake that there are no Hooters restaurants in Europe!!
