The European PGA Tour are crowing on their website about the domination of their members of the top of the world ranking list. While it's true that 39 of the top 50 will be plying their trade on the European tour this season, it's a tad disingenuous of the Tour to claim them all as their own.
An impressive number of the top players on the US PGA Tour have been tempted by the injection of Arab moolah and will compete as full members or affiliates this year. While there is no doubt that the Race to Dubai has boosted the European Tour considerably, openly bragging about it seems to take the lustre off it somewhat.
